Obviously surveyed more than 320 of the nation’s top beauty influencers to find out which looks and beauty brands are going to dominate Halloween this year. Here’s what they had to say about how to stand out during this year’s spooky season!
Exaggerated eyes are going to sweep us away on All Hallows’ Eve. An overwhelming 41% of influencers say that this year’s looks are going to be inspired by HBO hit Euphoria, so get ready for lots of rhinestones and glitter, ephemeral abstracts, and bold yet feminine neons.
With all of us keeping our eyes, well, on the eye, we wanted to know which brands delivers the best lashes. One stood out from the pack: 43% of influential makeup mavens says Ardell was their go-to brand for the finest fake lashes. Huda Beauty, Eylure, and Make Up For Ever followed in that order.
Whether you're hitting costume parties or out for a night on the town, nobody wants to spend a few hours on the perfect Halloween look only to have it fade before the clock strikes twelve. Our influencers have the inside line on which primers will help makeup last all night: 29% say Smashbox is the star, 17% say Tarte is your best bet, and Fenty Beauty and Becca tied for the bronze medal at 11% each
There are some makeup brands that are fail-proof no matter the product. We asked our beauty influencers to rate their top two budget-friendly brands that always offer all treats and no tricks. With 48% and 47% respectively, NYX and COLOURPOP topped the charts, but MAYBELLINE was a close third with 41%. Everyone's favorte newest brand to TikTok e.l.f followed, and Wet n'Wild made it onto the boards too.
