We’re closely following the developments around COVID-19 (coronavirus) here at Obviously. As we go through our social feeds, it’s clear that we’re not alone. Many people are posting about this topic, and it’s heartening that all of us are invested in staying healthy and connected.
In the spirit of staying connected, we wanted to give you more information about what we’re seeing in the influencer marketing space.
We’re proud to work in an industry that helps people stay connected even when physical isolation is an imperative. We’re tracking behaviors and seeing that people are spending more time online and on social media.
It’s clear people are online and eager to hear from the community they trust, and we believe this is a good time to start a dialogue about sharing factual, responsible information online.
To that end, we at Obviously are launching a new initiative called #ObviouslyGood. In the coming days and weeks, we’ll be creating opportunities for influencers to post about causes they care about, starting with coronavirus. We’ll be sharing information from the World Health Organization (WHO) and directing traffic there because it is the definitive source of reliable and up-to-date information about the pandemic. We encourage you to share the link to WHO’s COVID-19 page with your audiences as well.
We want to reassure you during this time of rapid change that we’re committed to being your trusted partner in influencer marketing. We’re finding new, creative, and exciting ways to bring people together online, especially when it’s not responsible to bring them together in person.
We’d love to hear from you about how you’re doing, and we’ll stay in touch with updates as they come. Please reach out to me anytime.
